Purdue lists same four players out on first availability report before Washington
Purdue's first Big Ten availability report for Friday's game against Washington rules out Mister Clark, Kylan Fox, Raderrion Daniels and Joey Tanona.

Purdue has ruled out four players on its first availability report ahead of Friday night's home game against Washington, and all four names were already on the list.
The Big Ten released the Tuesday report, the first of four before kickoff. According to On3's Gold and Black, defensive back Mister Clark, tight end Kylan Fox, Raderrion Daniels and left tackle Joey Tanona are all listed as out. On3 described the group as "a familiar quartet of Boilermakers." The outlet listed Daniels as a cornerback in its article text and as a tight end in its report table.
The report brings no new injuries and no returns. Purdue will play Washington with the same depth chart it has been using, and the coaching staff can keep the game plan it has already built. Getting through the early part of the week without a new name on the list is useful for a team at the midpoint of the season.
Tanona's absence matters most up front. Missing a starting-caliber left tackle puts more of the job of protecting the quarterback's blind side on the rest of the line, and a Friday night game shortens the week to prepare. Purdue is also without a tight end in Fox, so its blocking and short passing options at that spot are thinner than they would be at full strength. In the secondary, Clark being out means less depth in coverage against a Washington offense that will try to stretch the field.
The programs meet at 8:00 p.m. EDT Friday, October 16, on Fox. Both come in at 3-3, so the winner moves above .500 and the loser falls below it with half the regular season left. That makes Week 7 an important game for both teams' bowl hopes.
The market leans toward the home team. Purdue is favored at -163 on Novig, one of the venues listing the game, and the best sportsbook price on the Boilermakers is -164 at FanDuel. Purdue is favored by 3.5 points on the spread, and the total is 51.5. Full pricing is on the Washington at Purdue game page.
A spread of 3.5 points is close to the usual value of home field, which suggests the market sees two fairly even teams. If Purdue stays this healthy through the rest of the week, the number may not move much. Any late change to the injury list on either side could shift it.
The next update comes Wednesday, followed by two more before kickoff. Those reports will show whether any of the four can return or whether more Boilermakers join the list ahead of Friday night.
