Indiana 20, Nebraska 17: Nick Marsh's two long touchdowns erase a 17-6 deficit
Nick Marsh caught touchdowns of 75 and 44 yards in the fourth quarter as No. 7 Indiana beat Nebraska 20-17 in Lincoln to move to 6-0.

Nebraska held the ball for almost 40 minutes, won the first-down count 25 to 13 and led 17-6 early in the fourth quarter. It lost anyway, because Indiana needed only two throws to Nick Marsh.
Marsh caught touchdown passes of 75 and 44 yards from Josh Hoover in a span of under five minutes, and No. 7 Indiana left Memorial Stadium with a 20-17 win and a 6-0 record. Nebraska falls to 5-1. The full line history is on the game page.
How it was won
The first quarter set the tone for most of the afternoon. Kyle Cunanan opened the scoring with a 28-yard field goal for Nebraska at 8:57. Nico Radicic answered with a 42-yarder at 6:21. Nyziah Hunter then ran in from 10 yards with 1:01 left in the quarter, and Cunanan's kick made it 10-3.
Nobody scored again until the third quarter, when Radicic hit from 35 yards at 10:26 to cut the margin to 10-6.
Anthony Colandrea looked to have settled it at 12:01 of the fourth with a 39-yard touchdown run, and Cunanan's extra point put Nebraska up 17-6.
It lasted 10 seconds of game clock. On the next possession Hoover found Marsh for 75 yards, and Radicic's kick made it 17-13 at 11:51. At 7:13 the same pair connected from 44 yards, Radicic converted, and Indiana led 20-17 for the first time. Nebraska did not score again.
The box score reads like a Nebraska win. The Huskers outgained Indiana 392 to 328, ran for 128 yards to Indiana's 65, converted 10 of 19 third downs and held possession for 39:33. Indiana was 1 of 10 on third down and had the ball for 20:27.
The difference was explosiveness and ball security. Hoover went 12 of 22 for 263 yards and two touchdowns with no turnovers. Marsh finished with six catches for 187 yards, and Charlie Becker added three for 52. Lee Beebe Jr. led the ground game with 31 yards on nine carries, and Hoover ran five times for 24.
Colandrea completed 25 of 43 passes for 264 yards with no touchdowns and an interception, the game's only turnover. He also led the team with a rushing touchdown, gaining 47 yards on 17 carries. Jamal Rule ran 15 times for 53 yards. Jacory Barney Jr. caught nine passes for 108 yards, and Luke Lindenmeyer had seven for 45.
Against the number
Indiana closed as a 9.5-point favorite, and Nebraska covered with room to spare. The Huskers were never behind by more than three.
The total closed at 48.5. With 37 points scored, the under came in comfortably, helped by a scoreless second quarter and three field goals.
On the moneyline, Indiana closed at -360 and Nebraska at +285. The favorite won, though anyone holding Nebraska at that price had a live ticket until the final seven minutes.
What's next
Indiana returns home on Saturday, October 17, to face No. 4 Ohio State on Fox. It is the first ranked opponent on a schedule that has so far produced six wins by a combined 241-71.
Nebraska travels to Oregon the same day, also on Fox. The Huskers had won their first five by at least 18 points before this one, and they will need a cleaner finish in Eugene than they managed in the fourth quarter here.
