Big Ten Week 7 look-ahead: Ohio State at Indiana tops a seven-game card
A rematch of last year's Big Ten title game in Bloomington, Nebraska at Oregon, unbeaten UCLA against Wisconsin and Penn State at Michigan. Every game on next week's schedule, with the kickoffs ESPN has set.

Seven Big Ten games, one on Friday night, and the biggest of them at noon Saturday. Here is the Week 7 card as ESPN lists it. Times are Eastern; three kickoffs had not been set as of Saturday night. Ranks are from the AP poll released Oct. 4 and will change on Sunday. Prices for every game will be on the weekly board.
Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota and USC are off.
Washington at Purdue · Friday, Oct. 16, 8 p.m., Fox
Washington (3-3) has lost three straight and may be without quarterback Demond Williams Jr., who left Friday's loss to Iowa for rib X-rays. Elijah Brown threw for 251 yards and three touchdowns in relief. Purdue (2-3) played Minnesota on Saturday night and has a short turnaround. The Williams story.
No. 5 Ohio State at No. 7 Indiana · Saturday, noon, Fox
The game of the week and a rematch of last season's Big Ten championship, which Indiana won 13-10 on its way to the national title. The Hoosiers (6-0) have won 22 in a row but needed a fourth-quarter rally to get past Nebraska 20-17 on Saturday, and their running game was held to 65 yards. Ohio State (5-1) has lost only at Texas, by a point, and beat Maryland 45-16 behind four touchdown passes from Julian Sayin and two more scores from Jeremiah Smith. It opens a three-game run for the Buckeyes: at Indiana, at USC on Oct. 31 and home to Oregon on Nov. 7.
Northwestern at Michigan State · noon, Peacock
Northwestern (4-1) has won two straight since its loss at Indiana, including a 34-13 win over Penn State, and Aidan Chiles is coming off a three-touchdown day against Ball State. Michigan State (2-4) lost in overtime to Illinois and has dropped four in a row, though it scored 24 points in the second half. Spartans coach Pat Fitzgerald faces the program he used to run.
Rutgers at Maryland · 12:30 p.m., Big Ten Network
Two teams looking for a turn. Rutgers (1-4) was off this week after a 47-15 loss to Indiana. Maryland (2-4) has lost four straight, the last three in conference play.
Nebraska at No. 13 Oregon · time TBA
Oregon (3-2) is coming off a seven-turnover loss to UCLA and has to settle its quarterback spot, with Dante Moore in concussion protocol and Dylan Raiola, the former Nebraska starter, benched for Brock Thomas on Saturday. Nebraska (5-1) outgained Indiana and lost on a fourth-down touchdown with 7:13 left. Oregon's quarterback question.
Wisconsin at No. 21 UCLA · time TBA, Rose Bowl
UCLA (5-0) stayed perfect at Oregon but may be without quarterback Nico Iamaleava, who left with a lower leg injury. Wisconsin (4-1) comes off a bye with four straight wins, including 24-20 at Penn State. The Iamaleava story.
Penn State at Michigan · time TBA
Both teams entered Saturday at 3-2. Penn State played No. 19 USC at Beaver Stadium on Saturday night after back-to-back losses to Wisconsin and Northwestern. Michigan, off this week, has lost two straight, 20-19 to Iowa and 20-14 at Minnesota.
